Finish-On-Demand with the new Fourth Generation Signature Booklet Maker (SBM4). The SBM4 is a commercial constructed and fully automated finishing system. The modular design allows stitching, folding and trimming operations to be completed in three separate units. There is also a 4,000 lbs. of pressure Book Press available for the SBM4 for the flattest booklets in the industry.

Now, you can stitch, fold (press) and trim with the flexibility of right, center or left registration and adaptable feeding and delivery heights. This unique flexibility allows you to dock the SBM4 to BST-d and BSTd+ collators. The SBM4 together with the Bourg Suction Tower (BST) can produce high quality saddle-stitched documents at the amazing speed of up to 4,200+ an hour GUARANTEED and can change from one application to another automatically in only seconds.

SBM4-AGR Stitcher

Three choices of stitch heads; ISP M2000, ISP Cassette, or Hohner. The innovative ISP electronic cassette heads utilizes a patented self threading stitching wire cassette for easy load. This cassette will allow you to produce over 50,000 stitches and it automatically adjusts for various book thicknesses. It will also let you know when it's almost empty or if it happens to miss a stitch.

SBM4-PA Folder

The Folder utilizes a dual set of fold rollers thus producing square, sharp, accurate folds. Folder stops are equipped with a skew adjustment and roller gap is adjustable.

 SBM4-TR Trimmer

The Trimmer utilizes a unique two blade self sharpening system that notifies you when stock trimmings are full and must be removed.

SBM4-BBP Book Press

The Bourg BBP Book Press is a totally modular addition to the Bourg Booklet Making System. The BBP literally eliminates memory in the fold of a saddle stitched booklet utilizing two sets of steel rollers and up to 4,000 lbs. of pressure.
