On September 11, 1999, Kinko's conducted a comparison test among the Rhin-O-Tuff, GBC, Renz, and UniCoil brands. Their goal was to select the best machine for use as the "Kinko's standard" in their facilities.

Upon completion of this 4-month test, Kinko's selected the HD7000 as their standard punch! Kinko's judged the HD7000 superior in quality, performance, and operator acceptance over all the other leading punch brands.
